Consultations
When it comes to live sessions, many folks like to have a little extra check-in around things like:
- use of language around kink and experience
- understanding senses of humour / brat levels
- getting a better idea of how folks may want to feel in a scene
- planning an extended session rig
- showing me specialty gear/outfits you want to use/bring
- picking out clothing or costumes in the boudoir before a sissification/ dressup session
When it comes to folks who play from home/ not indoors right now, they sometimes book consultations for:
- asking questions about kinky journeys, toys, home exploration
- questions around seeking out a Pro/ SW for a specific experience
- asking questions about experience or starting points
- pre-planning a video session or series of video/ audio instructionals
- negotiating consent before heavy role play (humiliation, risk-awareness)
- switches/ subs who want to better their comms/ try different comms for navigating home play with others
I find some of the best consultations for in-person private sessions to be an outdoor stroll walk-and-talk starting at a coffee shop. Outdoor consultations take a little bit of navigating to respect the ears of the hasnt-consented-to-hear-that bystander until we find a bit of privacy so bear that in mind. Consultations are not a replacement for screening before meeting in-person. I may suggest online consultations to folks when our conversation doesn’t seem to be productive, if we aren’t having the same conversation/ understanding each other — this is a good and helpful thing.
